Most of us believe we, as Americans, live in the “land of the free and the home of the brave”, but with the controversy surrounding our elections in recent times, many are now asking, “do we?” To attempt to answer this fundamental question, I recently sat down with retired Colonel, Brett Hale, who has had thirty years of military experience. He was a pilot in the 82nd Airborne and worked on data collection and analysis for many years in the United States Army. Colonel Hale, did extensive research into the 2020 Presidential Election in Hamilton County Tennessee, and what he uncovered was quite jaw-dropping!
“Access to the data is the problem!” said Hale, passionately. “If you have nothing to hide, then hide nothing.” Since prior to November of 2021, numerous emails were exchanged between him and the Hamilton County Election Commission’s Lee Pope, Scott Allen, and Ms. Dana Chadwell. Some records were obtained, but items and information pertaining to the chain of custody as well as data and computer logs were denied by the Commission. They cited a law excusing them from having to provide access to these documents. This was the reply from, Ms. Dana Chadwell, when asked for records: You also claim that HCEC is refusing the produce the below records. Though this is not a properly made request, we will assume for purposes of this response you are requesting such records. As such, see responses below:

Mike Walden, the Hamilton County Election Commissioner, replied that rather than engage the citizens who were asking for transparency in the 2020 election and providing the information they requested, that they would have to “take them to court!” Of the data that was eventually accessed, it revealed 14,000 votes had been switched from one party’s candidate to another, but not having full access to all data, these irregularities could have been just the tip of the iceberg!
One would think that the most competent and integrity-grounded people would be put in charge of maintaining the purity of the ballot box. After checking into the background of the Voting Machine Tech, Mr. Hale, found that there was alleged criminal activity including but not limited to money laundering and shady business dealings. Of course, not all people at the Election Commission were of this ilk. Many are simply ignorant of the inner workings of the Dominion voting machines. Dominion, claims their software is “proprietary” and therefore no one can look “under the hood” of the machine in hopes of stealing Dominion’s design. I guess the ignorant here could have valid reason for being ignorant. Could it be that this is all on purpose to protect the 3rd party Dominion from oversight and protect the politicians and election board members from knowingly and willfully using these machines to rig elections? Hmm, something to ponder…
While we’re pondering, we can also ponder that an important date is coming up, which is September 3rd, which marks the milestone of twenty-two months where the 2020 Election data can be purged! Scott Allen, the Administrator of Elections made the claim to, Hale, that all previous Hamilton County Election Data has been kept. This should be assuring, but with all that the American people have witnessed in the past two years, can we trust systems and institutions anymore? Can we trust that people will just “do the right thing?” Election Security goes beyond Right and Left, Red Team and Blue Team.
Americans trusting the election process is paramount! Since all past records have been kept, everyone’s eyes should be acutely focused on what happens to those records come September 3rd. If these are not kept, what does it say about what’s hidden in that data? What precedent does it set for other contentious elections in the future? I encourage you to get involved like, Colonel Hale, and other Citizen Activists who are shining light and bringing transparency to our flawed election system.
